Item Description

Demantoid andradite garnet specimens are RARE from this less well-known district in the Erongo Region, compared to the more prolific Karibib District. Three, sharp, gemmy and lustrous, beautiful green, modified demantoid dodecahedrons are aesthetically set on the mounded matrix on this exceptional and rare example from this locale. The impressive large crystal is 2.2 cm across. Choice material from the Ernie Schlichter and Dave Bristol Collections.
