An attractive, rich and RARE large matrix specimen of these beautiful demantoid garnet specimens. The lustrous dodecahedrans are gemmy to translucent with beautiful emerald-green to deep green areas. The large crystal is a large 2.0 cm across. The intensity of the gemmy emerald-green portions of the crystals are quite eye-catching, and nearly unique for this locality. The periphery wear to this impressive large vug is noted, but is certainly only has minimal impact to the overall specimen presentation. Very choice and rare large matrix demantoid andradite material from this obscure locale.
