Andradite (var. Demantoid) Garnets (Charlie Key)

Item Description

Gemmy and lustrous, beautiful green, modified demantoid garnet dodecahedrons are very jauntily perched atop matrix on this very fine thumbnail from the Charlie Key dealer stock. The dramatic crowning andradite is 1.5 cm long. Very nearly pristine. The crystals on the left side are contacted, embedded with a bit of feldspar, but have no damage, per se. The tiny bruise on the back top edge of the crestal crystal is noted, but has very minimal impact on the fine display quality of this excellent thumbnail. Choice aesthetic material.
