Item Description
Richly colored grass-green, mostly gemmy Demantoid Garnet on matrix. This large crystal is 1.2 cm, and the luster, with very attractive striations, is very good. The excellent striations remind me of the great Garnets from Tongbei, not in pattern but in aesthetics. The green color and good luster carry the day. A very good Demantoid Garnet from the heyday of mining here, cherrypicked by Charlie over several decades of looking. Crystals of this size on matrix are rare and valued highly.
