Item Description
A seldom seen, sharp, euhedral dodecahedral "floater" crystal of intense chrome green Demantoid Andradite Garnet from Iran. The piece has good luster and well-formed faces along with being an appreciable size for the variety. Testing of these crystals showed that the color is caused by the presence of iron and chromium. You don't see many Demantoids with such excellent crystal form along with being richly colored. With strong backlighting, you can see the intense color. Valued at $800 retail.
