Item Description
From this recently exploited (2012) skarn zone in Inner Mongolia, here we have a freshly mined Andradite Garnet specimen featuring sharp, semi-lustrous, olive-green color dodecahedra. The largest Andradite crystal measures 11 mm across. This area is already known for producing some incredible Ilvaite crystals, and if the Andradites and a few other species improve a little, we will see some very interesting and eye-catching associations. If you're a Garnet collector, be sure to pick one of these up for your collection, as they already seem to have dried up from last year.
