Andradite (rare locale)

Item Description

Andradite specimens are RARE from Las Vigas, famous for outstanding amethyst specimens. Two generations of scintillating, gemmy and lustrous, dodecahedrons are festooned on the front and cover part of the back of this very rich and showy piece. The smaller, richer coverage of first generation crystals are yellow-green. The larger crystals are golden-olive and reach about 5 mm. Excellent, rich and rare Mexican andradite.
