Item Description
Lustrous, sharp, rust-brown, dodecahedral, andradite crystals to 1.3 cm cover the mounded matrix of columnar, green hedenbergite on this showy and excellent plate from Serifos Island, Greece. The crystals have gemmy. orangy edges, which are very nifty. Classic material from this noted locale, that displays well from either side.
