Lustrous, sharp, rust-brown, dodecahedral, andradite crystals to 1.5 rest on matrix of columnar, green hedenbergite on this showy and excellent plate from Seriphos Island, Greece. The crystals have gemmy edges, which are very nifty. Classic material from this noted locale.
