Andradite on chrome-rich Muscovite (rare combo)

A striking and rare combination plate from this uncommon locality. Sharp, lustrous, textbook, andradite dodecahedrons to 2.4 cm are aesthetically clustered on the edge of the matrix plate covered with RARE, pearlescent, silvery-green, chrome-rich, muscovite plates. Most andradite crystal faces have very high luster, with olive-green to yellow color. Translucent areas GLOW with rich color, when brightly lit. Some of the andradite faces are preferentially frosted/etched. There are many more smaller andradites, especially in the upper lefthand corner. Colorful, spectacular and rare combination material from this locale. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
