Item Description

A sharp, fairly large, 4.5 cm, andradite garnet dodecahedron is nicely set on massive andradite with franklinite and a bit of calcite. The lustrous, mottled yellowish-brown crystal has zones of moderate translucence. Classic older Franklin material from the Earl Calvert Collection. The piece displays well without aid.
