Item Description
From this newly exploited skarn zone in inner Mongolia, here we have a freshly mined Andradite Garnet specimen featuring sharp, semi-lustrous, soft olive-green color dodecahedra on matrix. The largest crystal measures 7 mm across. This area is already known for producing some incredible Ilvaite crystals, and if the Andradites and a few other species improve a little, we will see some very interesting and eye-catching associations. If you're a Garnet collector, be sure to pick one of these up for your collection, as it just came out of the ground a few months ago!
