A striking and very fine combination plate from this uncommon locality. Sharp, lustrous, textbook, andradite dodecahedrons to 1.8 cm are aesthetically clustered on the matrix plate covered with olive-green, gem to translucent epidote crystals. Most andradite crystal faces have very high luster, with olive-green to yellow color. Translucent areas GLOW with rich color, when brightly lit. Some of the andradite faces are preferentially frosted. One garnet has a dinged corner and another has a lightly bruised corner, which are both at the bottom of the piece and not very visible.
