Andradite Garnets w/ Quartz (excellent)

Item Description

Highly lustrous, sharp, reddish-brown andradite garnets are attractively and richly set on matrix with quartz on this showy and excellent old-time specimen. The dodecahedral crystals are beveled by the trapezohedron and measure up to 1.9 cm. The translucent crystals GLOW with orange-red fire, when backlit! Two, bruised/contacted crystals are noted, but are a minimal detraction. One side and a base have been sawed to enhance the display. Classic and excellent material, with gemmier than most andradites.
