Demantoid, the green variety of Andradite Garnet, is RARE from the famous deposits at Piedra Parada (Las Vigas). Gemmy, lustrous, yellow-green dodecahedrons, to 1.0 cm, are strikingly festooned on all sides of the sculptural masssive quartz with chalcedony matrix. Specimens of the richness and quality are seldom on the market.
