Item Description

Gemmy/translucent, lustrous, apple-green dodecahedrons, to 9 mm, are aesthetically clustered on the oxide-coated fibrous serpentine matrix slab. This is a very fine and rich andradite garnet variety demantoid specimen from this classic Italian locale. Ex Phil Scalisi Collection and comes with a rare David New Southwest Scientific Company label dating from July, 1966 to October, 1967.
