Item Description
Two sharp, gemmy, and lustrous leaf-green Andradite var. Demantoid Garnet crystals set in contrasting calc-silicate matrix from the well-known finds at Tubussis Farm 22 near the Erongo Mountains of Namibia. The larger, 1.6 cm gem crystal is in very good condition and it is overlapped in part by some of the matrix. The smaller .8 cm Andradite is similar. Highly representative of the species and locality, this is a very good thumbnail.
