Rich and rare andradite garnets on sculptural triangular matrix form a very showy small cabinet plate from an obscure Arizona locality, the Gray Throne prospect in Graham County. The sharp, lustrous, zoned, brown-orange-yellow dodecahedrons, to 1.2 cm, have a bit of translucence, that adds pizzazz to this fine Arizona rarity. Ex Tom Hales and Ted Bartels Collections. It was collected in 1985. Seldom on the market and has multiple display views.
