Andradite garnets are rare compared to the much more common spessartine and grossular garnets from Pakistan. This superb matrix thumbnail features a very attractive, aesthetically placed crystal of andradite with a textbook dodecahedral form. The faces are highly lustrous with a variable light and dark olive green color. The matrix is biotite/muscovite with tiny gemmy andradites.
