Item Description

A striking and very showy combination specimen from a New Find in remote Inner Mongolia. Strikingly lustrous and chatoyant, parallel-growth, grayish-green hedenbergite prisms form a cliff face. The hedenbergites look just like basalt columns! Sprinkled on the crest and front are sharp, lustrous and translucent, olive-green andradite garnet crystals. The back of the piece is totally covered with andradites to 8 mm. The form, appearance and luster of the piece is visually impressive. Choice combination material from this New Find.
