Highly lustrous, sharp, reddish-brown andradite garnets are aesthetcially intergrown on this exquisite specimen from well-known thumbnail specialist Jim Houran. The dodecahedral crystals are beveled by the trapezohedron and measure up to 1.9 cm. The translucent crystals have gorgeous zones of orange-red fire, when backlit. The one bruised corner is out-of-sight in the preferred display view. This cutie has a multitude of display possibilites. Classic and very fine material.
