Item Description
A sharp, highly lustrous, reddish-brown to chocolate-brown, andradite garnet with striking flashes of golden-amber to reddish-brown gemminess is jauntily set atop the quartz and granular andradite matrix on this showy and excellent old-timer. The dodecahedral crystal is beveled by the trapezohedron and is 2.5 x 2.3 cm. A bit of modet edge wear is noted, but this is a very fine representation of this classic California material. Old-time material. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON.
