Andradite & Amethyst

Amethyst is RARE from the Stanley Butte area, well-known for excellent andradite garnet specimens. This sculptural and aesthetic combination features clusters of sharp, lustrous, color-zoned, olive-green andradite dodecahedrons, to 1.0 cm, dramatically accented with pretty lilac amethyst points with frosted faces, to 2.6 cm (the horizontal crystal). The bruised tip of the upright 2.0 cm amethyst and the noted periphery wear are certainly only modest detractions to this rare and showy combination. A must for the Arizona or species collector.
