Striking, gemmy, highly lustrous, striated, honey-brown andradite garnets with a green tint and flashes of yellow gemminess totally cover all sides of the mounded flattened knob on this exceptionally rich and showy piece from this well-known skarn deposit near the famous mines at Dal'negorsk. The impressive large dodecahedron on the side is 2.2 x 2.2 cm. Excellent andradites from this noted locale. A very fine, rich and very showy two-sided specimen from the late 1990s finds. Complete all-around and pristine.
