Item Description
The "Alpine-type" skarn locality at Sinerechenskoe has produced some iconic and superb quality Andradite Garnets over the years, though they are few and far between these days. This piece is filled with fine quality, sharp, lustrous, rich brownish-black colore dodecahedra of Andradite measuring up to 1.2 cm on matrix. Showy and nearly undamaged on the display side. These are a must have for any Garnet collector or somebody who likes minerals of Russia.
