Item Description
Uncommonly colored yellow-brown, semi-metallic luster, partially translucent, stepped-growth andradite garnet dodecahedrons attractively cover the undulating matrix of granular andradite. Most andradites from the well-known Stanley Butte area are olive-green or olive-brown. The impressive large crystal is 2.6 cm on the diagonal. Ex De Natura (Les Presmyk) dealer stock. An excellent example of this rare color varietal of these well-known Arizona garnets from the locale.
