Item Description
Andersonite is a rare uranium carbonate that is rarely seen in good crystallized examples. This piece is arguably the best piece of Andersonite from the Ambrosia Lake locality that we've had to offer. It features sharp, well-formed, electric yellow color crystals measuring up to 7 mm on host rock matrix. Some of the crystals are smooth and well-formed, while others show a dramatic skeletal habit. The crystals are big for the locality, and there is really no damage that I can see with the naked eye. The piece also has a beautiful fluorescence under UV light. If you collect rarities or minerals of the southwestern United States, don't miss out on this fine quality attractive miniature display specimen.
