Item Description
Fine crystallized Andalusite is not seen from many localities around the world. The area around Jenipapo has given collectors a small amount of fine crystallized Andalusite from around 10 years ago. This piece is a sharp, well-formed, orthorhombic crystal of pinkish/green Andalusite. The crystal is mostly complete, but it's rough in areas. It should be noted that Andalusite is somewhat pleochroic, so when the piece rotated in the light, you can see a slight color change. A great opportunity for a collector to pick up a pretty godo quality Andalusite from this well known locality.
