Andalusite & Quartz (ex. Trimingham)

Item Description

Sharply crystallized andalusite specimens are RARE from any Arizona locale. This rich and fine reference features sharp, prismatic, lustrous, moderately translucent, pinkish-gray crystals to 3.8 cm in massive quartz. The underlying matrix is muscovite schist. Three larger crystals are terminated. Rare and choice, probably older material from the Bob Trimingham Collection. A must for the Arizona or species collector....I have never seen anything like this on the market!
