Ancylite-(Ce), cordylite-(Ce) and parisite-(Ce) are very rare REE carbonates and it is EXTREMELY RARE to see all three species in one specimen, even from the Type Locality for both ancylite and cordylite. A huge for the locale, 1.0 x 0.6 cm, "book" of lustrous cordylite plates dominates the piece along with a rich covering of ancylite lathes and 2.2 cm vug filled with brown parisite crystals on the mostly albite matrix. Not pretty to look at, but this is outstanding old-time and extremely rare and rich combination material from the Howard Belsky Collection. The 1.1 cm label on the back with 5 lines of superb printing is from a collection, that was auctioned in 1908! $3.50 was NOT cheap in 1908! Value??? This is possibly unique combination piece from this locale. A MUST for the species or locality collector!
