Anatase with Rutile (twin) (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

Here we have a gorgeous twinned group featuring distinct tetragonal crystals of Anatase which are epitaxially overgrown by small metallic golden-brown colored Rutile crystals on all sides. These specimens are certainly classics, and one RARELY sees a piece with such great form and aesthetics. I love the fact that there are two separate titanium oxides together on the same piece.
