Anatase with Adularia (Zukowski Coll.)

Splendent, sharp, striated, gun metal-blue, anatase crystals to 8 mm with gemmy, colorless orthoclase variety adularia crystals are aesthetically clustered on both sides of the mounded quartz-rich matrix on this very showy and excellent specimen from recent finds at Kharan, Pakistan. These superb crystals have been trickling out of Pakistan over the last few years, but are rare in this quality. They compare very favorably with Norwegian anatase. Adularia with anatase specimens are very uncommon from this locale. Fairly valued at $1000 for excellent combination quality. Ex C. Forte and Zukowski Collections.
