Item Description
Anatase specimens from this well-known Russian locale are virtually impossible to find on the market today. Here we have an attractive small cabinet specimen featuring a slab of semi-metallic blue-grey colored schist which plays host to several brilliant, sparkly, textbook Anatase crystals measuring up to 2.5 mm. These came out in the early to mid 1990s, and have never been seen again. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#12204). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
