A 1.4 cm, sharp, splendent, doubly terminated, anatase crystal with classic, tapered tetragonal form and sharp striations is elegantly set on matrix on this excellent thumbnail from Taftan. Anatase is rare from this more obscure Pakistan locale, better known for excellent brookite specimens. Pristine. One edge of the crystal is contacted with bit of embedded matrix, but there is no damage, per se. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. An adorable representation of the species and uncommon locale.
