Item Description

A 1.1 cm, sharp, splendent anatase crystal with classic, tapered tetragonal form and sharp striations is very artistically set on a thin shard of matrix richly covered with small upright cleavelandite blades on this very fine combination miniature from Taftan. Anatase is rare from this more obscure Pakistan locale, better known for excellent brookite specimens. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock and valued by Herb at $450, more than five years ago. An adorable representation of the combination species and uncommon locale.
