Item Description

Anatase is rare from this more obscure Pakistan locale, better known for excellent brookite and quartz specimens. Several, sharp, splendent crystals are elegantly scattered on the intergrown quartz crystal matrix. The crystals reach 9 mm tall. They have classic tetragonal form with sharp striations. The glassy doubly terminated quartz crystal is 3.3 cm along and some of the matrix is covered with small albite blades. The quartz crystals at the opposite end are terminated. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. A fine representation of the combination species and uncommon locale.
