Anatase - fine TN

An exceptionally sharp single crystal, showing gemmy blue and tan highlights around the edges, superbly representing the rare but often damaged anatase to have come out of Pakistan in a trickle over the last decades. This came out in 2005 and I purchased this amazing thumbnail specimen from the legendary gentleman dealer Francois Lietard, in Munich of 2005. This piece is sharp, glassy, and all around top quality! At the time, it was one of the best, we all agreed, and I purchased it from him and it has since languished here , lost in the drwers. Nevertheless, now is the time to bring it back out and you can see, the last 15 years or so have not given us better ones! Some new anatase has come out to be sure, but of a different, more pointy style. This is a fine , competition level thumbnail crystal with real pizzazz to it, valued $1000-1200 as it should be at least comparably valued to Norway specimens (which, also, are frankly much more common).
