Item Description

A classic Swiss Anatase specimen featuring sharp, lustrous, thin prismatic crystals measuring up to 3 mm which are partially coated by "Chlorite" and assocaited with Adularia, Ilmenite and Quartz on matrix. The Anatase crystals have a bit of a dark blue color when you view them under strong light. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#10521). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
