Item Description
Going back to the early 2000s the Baluchistan region of Pakistan started producing some really fine quality Brookite and Anatase specimens. These pieces are actually "Alpine-type" crystals, and it's not a coincidence that they are fairly identical to crystals from European Alps in terms of quality, color and size. Considering how little is found in the Alps each year, the boost of specimens on the market from Pakistan was certainly noticed by the collecting community. This small cabinet specimen features a superb, HIGHLY lustrous, blue and golden colored, doubly-terminated, tetragonal, bi-pyramidal crystal of Anatase measuring 1.1 cm with additional Anatase crystals plus white / colorless Quartz on matrix. Very little damage, but the piece is not completely pristine. It seems that these deposits have dried up and very little is available on the market now, so don't miss out on these pieces while there are still a few out there.
