Anatase (doubly-terminated)

Starting nearly 20 years ago, we started seeing some impressive Brookite and Anatase specimens from Baluchistan. These are actually "Alpine-type" crystals, nearly identical to their cousins from European Alps in terms of quality, color and size. I think that these pieces are some of the finest quality examples of the species from any locality in quite some time. This small miniature specimen features a lovely crystallized group of HIGHLY lustrous, deep blue colored, thin, tetragonal, bi-pyramidal crystals of Anatase measuring up to 8 mm sitting on matrix. The group is doubly-terminated and actually multi-terminated if you look closely. Very fine quality all over, and it looks wonderful up close! In terms of luster and sharpness, the quality is as good as it gets.
