Recently there have been a find of superb "Alpine-type" quality Brookite and Anatase specimens from the Kharan District of Pakistan. The Anatase specimens found at this locality are some of the finest quality pieces to be found in the modern era of minerals. This particular specimen features a very sharp, highly lustrous, doubly-terminated, well formed near "floater" crystal group of Anatase with a nice golden and blue color and gemmy areas. This is an amazingly fine quality Anatase crystal from any locality, and if it were from Norway or the European Alps, it would be highly prized by collectors.
