Item Description

A fantastic, fairy book-looking combination from this renowned locale. It looks like a frosted gingerbread house (sharp microcline crystal) with the steep roof covered with candy (textbook, porcelaneous, bone-white analcime crystals, to 2.2 cm)! Only the front of the "house" is frosted with tiny analcimes. The sides are gray-white microcline. One side of the "roof" has been partially "eaten" (bruised) and the back is a cleave. Certainly a surreal and excellent combination from this famed quarry. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and formerly in the Al Ordway Collection, according to Bob's label.
