Analcime (ex Brian Kosnar Collection)

Item Description

A rarely seen Analcime crystal from this somewhat obscure locality in Washington state. For the sharpness, luster and the fact that the faces are smooth and unpitted, I would say that this is a VERY good representation of this hard to find zeolite species. Good Analcime crystals are not common from any locality these days, and to find a 1.5 inch trapezohedron from the Pacific Northwest is even less common in my experience. If you're a zeolite collector, don't miss out on this one.
