Item Description
This remote Siberian zeolite locality has produced some of the finest and largest examples of the species, such as this one. However, few are seen on the Western markets. The crystal is complete all-around and nearly pristine. It has textbook form and beautiful porcelaneous luster with translucence. The embedded matrix adds color and sculptural quality to this fine example. An impression, where a small analcime crystal once lay, has no damage, per se. The collection label has a 1976 date. From a Russian suite we purchased at Tucson about ten years ago, of historical specimens!
