Item Description

This specimen features sharp, glassy, gem-like, colorless analcime crystals (to a few millimeters in size) perched on a meta-basalt matrix, representing a fine and rare find from Bohemia. The matrix is covered with many tiny analcime crystals, showcasing different generations of growth. This piece serves as an excellent geological example of the formation of zeolite group minerals in meta-basalt through post-hydrothermal processes, making it both scientifically significant and visually appealing.
