An excellent amethyst plate from recent finds at Artigas, Uraguay. Gemmy and juicy, variably shaded grape-purple, amethyst crystals cover this fine piece, which looks great from either side. This showy piece is essentially pristine, with only trival periphery wear. Choice material with top color from this famous locale. Ex Zukowski Collection. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
