Item Description

A striking and aesthetic CABINET cluster of diverging, superb, highly lustrous and glassy, amethyst crystals with rich purple shading and nifty interior phantoms from Amatitlan. The large prism cluster and in fact, the entire specimen, is fabulous in its 360-degree presentation. Trivial termination wear is noted on most of the crystals, but are only modest detractions visually though should affect value. a brken central cystal is also noted, but it is trimme back to the cluster attachment point.. The overall presentation, glassiness and color shading of this fine piece is outstanding. Fairly common in the late 1970s to mid-80s, very few have been found recently.
