Amethyst with Lepidocrocite inclusions

Item Description

A really attractive Amethyst specimen from Brandberg, featuring very sharp, lustrous, GEM/gemmy light purple color crystals with dozens notable tiny inclusions of red Lepidocrocite. Great quality all the way around, and certainly beautiful up close under the microscope. We photographed the inclusions with a Canon MP-E 65mm macro lens. If you're a Quartz collector, I have to think you'd like one of these in your collection. The back of the specimen is contacted, but displays very well from the front.
