Thunder Bay Amethysts are among the most attractive Quartz specimens from North America. The contrast of the royal purple Amethyst with the stark red Hematite makes for some really eye-catching display pieces. This is a cluster of sharp, lustrous, gemmy purple Amethyst crystals with beautiful red to brownish-red tones from inclusions of circular Hematite. The largest crystal measures up to 1.0 cm approximately. This piece is complete all around, with very little damage. Very attractive when backlit and viewed up close!
