Item Description

Pretty purple, sparkly, glassy, transparent to translucent amethyst crystals, to 1.3 cm, are festooned on this excellent and sculptural large plate from the Thunder Bay Amethyst Mine of the famous Thunder Bay District of Ontario. The crystals are strikingly, preferentially included with brick-red hematite in their terminations and richly peppered with hematite blebs throughout. An impressive, classic and colorful amethyst with hematite inclusions from the well-known locale. Old De Natura dealer stock.
